My German immigrant family taught me to be a "Connoisseur" of Marzipan from birth. Both of my parents were born in Germany and often we would venture over to visit my relatives. My addiction began. I was offered Lubeck Marzipan only during the Christmas Holiday growing up. My goal was to create a GOLD standard of Marzipan Chocolate Candy.
We have dedicated years to creating the richest & freshest tasting homemade Marzipan made with Fresh Almonds, hand peeled (husbands job), food processor used to create paste with less sugar then the best Marzipan in the world. Niederegger, Lubeck is 50% almonds. Our Marzipan is 75% almonds and is covered in 70% Pure Organic Dark Chocolate.
I have been making Marzipan for locals, friends & family in Vero Beach for many years. Started making marzipan after my husband (my inspiration) ate our Lubeck order from Germany before family arrived for the Christmas Holiday. The Marzipan I created, ended up tasting better than Lubeck - according to our families opinions, who are vey critical of my creations.
